Where are we now?

Achievements

  • As a first step towards developing our 'dream software' PlaNet, that will provide the infrastructure for our social vision, we have developed a series of screenshots to show what it might look like and how it would work.

PlaNet spec

  • We have produced a short story PlaNet 2010, whose characters illustrate the use of the PlaNet software.

PlaNet 2010

  • We have produced the resource pack, 'Tools for Change', a library full of books, articles and useful information about the state of the world and what to do about it. Highlights are available on our site, and the rest on a CD-ROM.

Open Food Co-ops

An Open Food Co-op is a partnership of people who like locally-sourced, high quality food:

  • It builds on what is there now: existing producer’s co-ops, farms and farmers’ markets, processors (bakers, cheesemakers, etc), distributors, shops, box schemes, regional support groups
  • It adds new local food clubs.
  • It adds food-related social events
  • And links them all with an innovative communication & information management system

Virtual Open Organisational Platform

The core goal of the project is to develop an application in which individuals or organisations can create and manage virtual organisations or virtual teams according to the principles of open organisation. They will have:

  1. Transparency in the roles of participants
  2. Clearly defined, and well documented, governance processes
  3. Clearly defined rules surrounding participation in various sub-groups.

Creative Regeneration

The Creative Regeneration group is a mutual support network that brings together many of London's leading community and arts based regeneration projects to share knowledge, expertise, resources and best practice.
